Min pressure was increased from 4 to 5.5 and appears to be a good outcome.(first night)
Second night was looking ok until a flurry of crap at the end.
Does anyone know why im getting the cheyne stokes breathing at the end ?? I may have been awake around this time as i get up early.
Is it all about the AHI when using cpap machines ? Under 5 is good is it not.
cheers Dazza

			That's NOT Cheyne Stokes Respiration.
It's a little bit of Periodic Breathing which is just a waxing and waning of the air flow. Most likely at that time you were awake but even if you were asleep it doesn't really mean much of anything.
Not all Periodic Breathing is Cheyne Stokes.....Cheyne Stokes is a form of Periodic Breathing but not the only form of PB.
Real Cheyne Stokes Respiration looks markedly different from what is shown on that report.
SleepyHead defaults to calling all PB as CSR and it scares people unnecessarily IMHO.

your machine does not detect CSR, the event flag in sleepyhead is mislabeled, go into 'file/preferences/events' and edit the csr line to say 'PB Periodic Breathing".

Well, if you haven't been awakened by a frying pan or clock radio cracking onto your head, perhaps not. Also, it's been noted elsewhere that certain (adorable!) little dogs that snore can produce these artifacts without any effort on your part . So if you have adorable little furry creatures, you may blame the whole nasty affair on them. Or on your partner .
