Psssst!! party for Wader!?
Psssst!! party for Wader!?
Don't know if you've noticed, but Wading thru the Muck is fast approaching that magical forum number of 1000 posts!!!
Quite the prolific little Wader, don't you think?
Hmmm. How could we celebrate? Any ideas?

We could make him famous by posting his review of the Remstar Auto with C-Flex in with the CPAP Interviews.
Re: Psssst!! party for Wader!?
I was waiting a little longer to post the same thing.LDuyer wrote:Don't know if you've noticed, but Wading thru the Muck is fast approaching that magical forum number of 1000 posts!!!
I think whatever we do, we should slip some sleeping pills into his drink, give the upstart newcomer (aka me) a chance to catch up.
Seriously, it's quite an accomplishment when you consider that his posts have a significantly higher content quotient than some of my silly ones.
Wader, thanks for (close to) 1000 posts of wisdom for newbies over the.... months.
Liam, who thought for the longest time that Wader's real name was "Wade".

I think for you to catch up, he'd have to be drugged until next Thanksgiving!Liam1965 wrote:I think whatever we do, we should slip some sleeping pills into his drink, give the upstart newcomer (aka me) a chance to catch up. ...
But judging your activity on the forum, you two just might be neck and neck in no time.
Linda, who must remind Liam and Wader.....no necking!

Well in his other post, he was waiting for him... Is Wader the him that he speaks of?LDuyer wrote:I think for you to catch up, he'd have to be drugged until next Thanksgiving!Liam1965 wrote:I think whatever we do, we should slip some sleeping pills into his drink, give the upstart newcomer (aka me) a chance to catch up. ...

I was just thinking...... if Wader speaks as well as he posts, invite him to guest speak at the A.W.A.K.E. meetings. Honourarium and all!!!
For my part, I just want to say :
THANK YOU - wading thru the muck!
You have helped me personally and I really appreciate your posts!
All the best,

Linda has high hopes for everyone else when she should be boosting herself up the ladder.
...thanks for your words of confidence.

You are too modest, Wader.
Ladder? Depends on what ladder you're referring to. I don't aspire to go up any ladder of apnea leadership. You may not so aspire, but I've a hunch you'll be pulled up that ladder fairly quickly.....kicking and screaming, maybe.....but up that ladder you'll go! There's always room at the top for leaders.
My ladder is only intended to find me a job I can support myself with, and time to pursue my heart's desires.
Now, skeedaddle.....we're planning your party.
Linda

No no! Don't quit! If you stop spending time focusing on the things Wader should be doing, you'll have that much MORE energy to be telling me I should be writing more. Which is very much an ego boost, but I do believe my dearest lovely wife is getting a tad annoyed with the combination of time I spend on cpaptalk.com and the time I spend on the newfound resurgence of my writing.wading thru the muck! wrote:I'll skeedadle if you quit suggesting that I am after the jobs of half the people on the forum.
I think you need to continue spreading your encouragement around. Besides, Wader is so much more worthy than I.
Liam, who has a fever right now, and hopes it isn't lowering the level of his normally well considered, reasoned, and completely SERIOUS posts.
