The courier was polite and knowledgeable about what he was bringing and got it all hooked up. After telling him our woes, he refused to leave until I went back and LISTENED to it to make sure it wasn't too loud or awful.

It is beautiful. Quiet (all things considered) and I'm content again.

AHHHHH.
the perfecto2 is pretty nice, noise wise. my friend has his at the foot of his bed, doesn't bother him in the least.

Congratulations! I was going to say "What a nice belated xmas gift" but a functional quiet machine should have been a given from the get go.

I had the perfecto2 to start with. My original one (4 concentrators ago) was just making a weird noise that I asked them to CHECK. Thus began my concentrator HELL.

I keep the concentrator on a rolling cart and it sits right beside my bed. We've gotten used to the noise it makes and it is more white noise now. But that DeVibliss man -- OMG that thing was horrible. Makes the Perfecto sound like nothing.

The driver that brought this one (again a courier which at first ticked me off) was wonderful. He knew what he was doing, knew how to connect them (carried spare connectors in his POCKET for those that didn't have them for the the concentrators that needed them) and refused to leave until I went back to make sure everything was okay.

I'm going to tell the DME that I'm GOOD. I don't want them trying to take this one away. This is the quietest Perfecto2 they've brought. Or possibly I'm just so relieved to have the DeVibliss gone!!

and offer a compliment to their delivery guy, maybe they'll send him next time you need something, and you can avoid hell...

even a low rumble sounds quiet after you've been around jets taking off (perfecto2 vs devilbluss)
