AirFit P10 question

Post by raineedaywoman » Mon Jul 07, 2014 8:58 pm

When I put my mask on......should the size inside the nasal pillow be at the top or bottom? I feel really stupid having to ask but when the size is on top......it hangs down on my lip and very uncomfortable!
When I flip it and have the size at the bottom.....it is way more comfortable but I am concerned about leaks. Thanks for any help!

The size letter goes on the bottom next to your upper lip area.
Have you watched the fitting video?

The letter on the pillow should be facing down. What makes this mask so comfortable is that it barely touches your face. I have a gap of a finger width between my lip and the mask, and leaks are significantly lower than with the Swift FX or Nano.

maybe it's just the newer pillows, but they have an L and a R on them.

also, there's a smooth spot on the bottom so you can feel it in the dark. and, if you think about it, the size letter would be upside down if you put it on the top

Suggestion that made all the difference for me: After I put the mask on correctly and put my head on the pillow, I tossed the hose up, over and around my bed pillow which pulled the mask off my upper lip. I also sleep on my side with a memory foam pillow. The foam pillow helps keep the mask in place once I'm comfortable.
