New mask for me to try.

Post by idahogal » Wed Jun 28, 2006 11:52 am

Just came back from picking up a dc adapter for my machine. While I was there I was given a new mask to review for the provider. It kind of looks like a cross between a NAll and an airline headset. Here is the link.

If anyone knows anything about this please let me hear what you think.

Idahogal,

That thing showed up here about a month or two ago. I'm thinking it was Johnny that did a poll on it as to whether CPAP.COM should stock it.
I seem to recall that the initial reaction wasn't all that terribly warm. I think they were going to get some samples for a couple of our brave souls to try.

I tried that mask about 6 months ago. I was told it was a nasal-aire and it is not. the headgear is terrible and I later found out this is a hospital one time only product that some company is now selling in home care. That was my lesson in learning to stick with the brand name product.

Ok, well I guess there is my answer...LOL. I will of course try it and see what happens. If nothing else I can at least use it for something I am sure...LOL
