Where did you ever get an idea like that!

You need to sign up for a course in Logic, or at least Common Sense.

By your attitude, you are disappointing and betraying those here who have invested time and effort and sincerity in trying to help you in your apnea/cpap struggles.

Lol! Now THAT'S funny... (I'm not sure you are savvy enough to try fraud. Better stick with the machine you have.)

I may be unethical, but im watching over my investment, thats all, i went though hell obtaining the money/suffering/while in school to make this bipap happen, so im gonna make sure, i have on for a long time.
The question that keeps coming to my mind is:
"What 'school' in Oklahoma teaches this kind of perverted, convoluted, idiotic type of thinking?"

What's your course of studies? "Pre-law"? You may have a career in politics.

Get your head out of your ass and be a decent human being with some ethics!!! Your thinking (or lack thereof) is nonsense. You're only setting yourself up for a huge disappointment and further monetary setback.

Being poor is not an excuse for being a crook. In fact, your dishonesty and attitude hurts other people who are poor or in need because it gives politicians one more excuse to drastically reduce or eliminate government programs to help the overwhelming number of honest poor people who are deserving of some assistance. "Look, they're all crooks like brokennose or whatever his names is!" is typical of their attitude and your dishonest attitude contributes to that impression.

You have labeled yourself as a liar and a cheat, while repeatedly mentioning in other posts that you are attending school, presumably to better yourself. Makes one wonder whether you cheat on your exams too. If so, you are wasting your time going to school because you will not be learning the skills you are seeking through dishonesty.

Yes, you have told us you are not interested in being judged here for your dishonesty, and that we are all wasting our time responding; but in fact we are not wasting our time, because we are more concerned with your besmirching the reputation of this valuable forum. Therefore what all the responders are trying to make clear, if you won't listen, is that no one else here endorses your crooked intentions as advice for others who come here seeking help and good information about sleep apnea and cpap treatment.

By the way, it is clear from your original post on this thread that you were not really asking for advice, you were offering this "gem" as advice to others as to how to commit a fraud. You were bragging that you thought you "knew" how to do it, and were offering it as an idea to others.

Nate
What is most pitiful is that in a country like this, these serious healthcare issues and expenses do in fact drive millions of people of all walks of life to such distress. Pay for heat or pay for blood pressure medication. Ask a doctor to prescribe double the pills you need, simply so you get more for the same co-pay, lowering your cost. Pay for a new cpap or contemplate fraud because you cant afford to 'live' anymore without buying a new one for $1,300. There but for the grace of Gd go I.

The previous poster in another thread from the UK really said it all -- his big worry was that he could only get ResMed products under their national health system or else have to pay extra. Well what a high class problem that is! And here, we have an American so essentially desperate for options that he would concoct in his mind a way to get the medical care he needs, albeit in an illegal way. No one can say American ingenuity is dead that's for sure.

I hope the OP sees the flaws in his plan and that the best way for him, now, is to go and get the health insurance coverage he is now, thankfully, legally entitled to under the new law. It will take a lot of outreach and education to millions of Americans in his position to 'unlearn' the medical survival skills and fears that have come from living a life desperate with no health insurance. I only wish him well in moving forward.

That may not be 100% correct, he could be studying to be a lawyer, kn which that would be on the job training. Jim

No, you deserve to give your head a big shake and turn on the light bulb. You have had tons of negative attention here, so why don't you just LISTEN to others and smarten up. Like we have said, you are not the only one with no insurance and find it very hard to make enough money to buy what you need. You are feeling very sorry for yourself at the moment, why don't you go out and have a nice walk in the sunshine and clear your head or visit a friend and DO something constructive.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

My take on Ruin is that he actually wants us to talk him out of this. If he's smart enough to figure out a hack, he's smart enough to know not to broadcast it on a public forum. Ruin: By emailing out your hacked SD files to other members you've just given the manufacturer a plausible trail to follow and they will undoubtedly notice certain software patterns in the machines that turn up defective in the future. Who knows, the investigators might even end up at your doorstep, especially given all the snooping the gov't is doing these days (re: Snowdon). I hope you don't think that everything communicated on a public forum is private. BTW, You've just inserted second bullet to the chamber of your Russian Roulette scheme, all due to hubris. Like I said at the top, I'm hoping you're wanting us to talk you down.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I think you give the manufacturers way, way, way too much credit. They cant even figure out a way to remotely update the firmware or software on all their fancy boxes. I doubt they have the other advanced skills you presume, lol.
