I've been off of them for 5 years, they weren't making me feel any better, just numb and tired. paxil made me act bipolar, lucid dreams, and RLS, wellbutrin kept me up 30-40 hours till i passed out, and cipralex made me narcoleptic
I'm actually feeling better without them, though, still exhausted

Also, falling asleep during dental procedures could indicate sleep deprivation/daytime sleepiness.
I fell asleep during a root canal!

LOL!
I almost did during mine about a year ago, and almost did during a wisdom tooth extraction! Hadn't taken anything besides the freezing, and an ibuprofen. Couldn't help it, was a really comfy chair

I understand that some folks hum, some make a low sort of growling (not the threatening kind) sound, and some people sing -- because it's a comforting thing for them to do; sort of like the purring sound cats make. I do that very often when I'm on my long daily walks. My wife finally got used to it and tolerates it once I explained this to her. I don't do it at night sleeping, however, or she'd so inform me.
So, from my viewpoint, don't worry about it and go on humming all you like.
Suggest you fill in the equipment, mask, etc., that you're using so folks here can better help out.
Best of luck with your therapy.

none. haven't had a proper sleep test yet, just doing the research prior to getting everything setup

A somewhat related topic: My wife, who doesn't have any real sleep disorders, sometimes moans loudly at night. When I mention it the next morning, of course she doesn't remember doing any moaning at all. I think for her it's just a stress relief reaction that happens when she pops out of REM sleep to near consciousness, plus it only lasts a few seconds. It can be pretty loud and it's certainly annoying to me, but what can I do about it? I bought some silicone earplugs, so I guess I'll try those.
I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

it was causing me to fall asleep during the day with no control, I wasn't using the correct term.

This "sounds like" a parasomnia - catathrenia. Check it out. It's relatively rare, and seems completely harmless

Thanks ironhands. That sounds like what it might be.
