Help a newbie

Post by Congo32 » Mon Feb 11, 2013 3:02 pm

Hi my machine is a Phillips respironics bipap bi flex pro model is ds650 hs
I need some help. I'm going crazy machine stopped working a week or do ago and I have no insurance because I have been unemployed since may last year. I have found another machine for a great price but I really can't afford it. Anyone have a y suggestions. My machine starts like normal but when I press the button to start therapy it sounds like it wants to start then it just resets and keeps doing the same thing over and over until it starts to beep constantly and then it read service required. Anyone know a place here in Miami Florida I can take it too. Thx. Blood pressure has been high since I stopped using it. Machine is over 2 years old.

That would be the PR System One BiPap Pro with BiFlex model 650.
They aren't cheap by any means.

Only thing I can think of that might be cheap would be craigslist but you really need to know your machine models.
I think Mcdover had a BiPap in the M series that was lightly used. I don't know what price he was wanting for it. Since it is a discontinued (but still a great machine) he might be able to let it go with not such a huge price tag. His prices are very reasonable for the gently used machines that he offers. He's a straight up guy too. Won't take your money and not deliver the machine.
You might send him a PM and ask him what he might have that would suit your needs.
See this thread.

You will need to send a private message so that he knows about your needs. If you just post in the thread he may not see it right away.

You have to be registered and signed in to send a PM.

Probably it is the tapatalk thing. New forum members have to do that letter thing to make sure you are live human for a period of time when sending PMs. I am not familiar with tapatalk so maybe it doesn't allow for the captcha thing.
Just post in his thread. If he doesn't reply by tomorrow post again in his thread...I will see the second posting and I can send him a PM and tell him to check his thread.
He may have it set up so that he gets an email notifying him that someone has posted in his thread...but he may not.
Or when your home this evening and can use a regular computer you might try a private message again.

This is true but it looks to me like he is signed in. I suspect the lack of PM ability is from tapatalk thing.
It may not be able to convey the captcha thing that new members have to do when sending PMs.
