They're a little pricey, you might be able to MacGyver a facsimile from tape - but they're another option. They can be a little tricky until you get the knack of putting them on, but in my mind, they're a winner.
You can order a sample pack to see which style works best for you. Here's their link in the USA:

I just watched the video for applying the chin-up strips. welki, do you rub vaseline on your face like that? I was thinking of trying the strips but don't want to be rubbing petro chemicals into my skin every night. I wonder if there's an alternative that would work as well as vaseline.

Where can you buy a power failure warning device? It sounds like a great idea!
Marry, I just bought one for about $14 at my local Ace Hardware store. Combo flashlight and alarm when power goes out.

I got mine here.

Maybe try some vegetable oil. It may stink or be messy.

Ewww, but you gave me an idea -- Palmers oil. Smells good and is made for the skin. Thanks!

Well, Palmer's oil is made with cocoa butter, which is a vegetable oil, just like a lot of cosmetics.

Hey, I'm a southern boy. I grew up on bacon drippins. I've still got mom's special bacon drippin filter and storage tin. My first girlfriend used bacon grease as perfume.
