How soundly do you sleep?

I have ALWAYS slept soundly amidst lights, noises, etc. and still do

I would have thought I was not a light sleeper. I could fall asleep with any and all kinds of disturbances in the room. My problem was those darn nightmares, the ones where I was drowning, where I was being smothered, where I was being choked...Funny how your brain tries to make sense of something that really doesn't make sense! Little did I know the gasping caused the dreams not the other way around. My doctor didn't want to have me tested for apnea because I don't really snore. Turns out it's CSA not OSA for me.

After a lifetime of those nightmares, last night was the first night I can remember NOT having a bad dream and waking up gasping. 6 hours of straight sleep (until my mask must have slipped and started leaking). So, I see that as my first little victory.

Here's to more small victories that add up to some really big ones.
