CPAP machines for sale on Amazon

Post by Uncle_Bob » Thu Aug 25, 2011 3:35 pm

I was suprised to see cpap machines listed on amazon.com.
They seem to be brand new with no mention of a required Rx.
Could be useful for someone with no insurance?

Good work UB. I think I would confirm the model with them before making a purchase.
Here is another - http://www.amazon.com/Respironics-Remst ... 284&sr=1-9

Use these links to determine which models convert from M series to PRS1 and which record data other than "Pattern of Use".

This link also has "User Manuals" for dl -

Yep, they've had them for a while now. I got my travel one on there about a year ago and my updraft machines too. They also have masks.

Mimmie... did you get yours without a Rx? I notice that the ones listed here are being offered on Amazon, but they are being sold through a third party vendor. I would suspect they would be the one asking for the Rx.

I could be rwong but it sure looks to me that she is wearing it upsidedown. Not that it won't work that way, IF it seals, hmmm might be worth a try.

But pity those poor eyes caught in the corners of that mask where you just know there have to be leaks, leaks, leaks.

Maybe red, swollen, puffy eyes are the new wave of fashion?

They obviously don't know how to use a mask or machine if they are posting pics with the mask upside down. I wonder where they got the gear they are selling.....anyone hear of a DME that got broken into
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

No, upon CLOSER analysis, I believe that this is one of those NEW & IMPROVED combination *eye mask and chin strap* devices that this smart young fellow is fashioning.
I'm going to try this tonight and see how it works.....

These people are clearly on the cutting edge of cpap therapy.

It's also got one of those new style chin bars that keeps you from mouth breathing.

I am sure many people here will just know that the person they" worked with" at their DME was probably the one who set up the models.

it also begs an answer to this question:

"How many DME's does it take to change a light bulb?"
