S9 Autoset CPAP Machine for Sale (with original box)

Post by AI81 » Fri Jul 01, 2011 1:42 pm

I have an "S9 AutoSet CPAP Machine" for sale with less than 100 hours. The machine includes all the original components

This Product Includes...

S9 AutoSet CPAP Machine
SlimLine Tubing
Carrying Case
Disposable Filter
Patient Manual
SD Memory Card
Power Supply and Cord

I will also include 2 CPAP Masks which are slightly used:
- ComfortGel Original Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear
- Swift LT Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear

I purchased this machine a little over six months ago with the hopes of resolving my long unattended sleep apnea issue. The machine itself works great, but for the first couple months I tried putting it to use, I would always take the mask off (unconsciously), leaving it to breathe on its own. For the first 30 days, the actual readings would indicate I've only had the mask on for "0.5-1.0 hours," which is ineffective. The machine is not for me and I think surgery might be my only solution.

The machine and masks are in great condition. I would be more than happy to provide you with pictures. Please reply to this message if interested.

Try again to use your machine, after you purchase the humidifier to go with it. You might also want the Climateline tubing, so you don't have to fight with rain-out, or use a hose cozy to prevent rain-out. The humidifier made all the difference for me, could not tolerate the machine without one, and also ripped my mask off every night till I got one. Please do not give up.... you will find the right mask to be able to use your CPAP if you try hard enough and long enough. Don't give up, tending to your health is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your family.

Don't give up! Ask a lot of questions here on cpt and study every thread that applies. There is a wealth of information here and wonderful people who are willing to help. There are threads about taking your mask off at night - or start one of your own to ask for suggestions as to how to keep the mask on. Many people suggest using the machine in the daytime while sitting up watching TV or reading a book. You will gradually get used to it and it will become natural to keep it on at night. Gradually increase the time you are on the machine.

There are others who are much more knowledgeable than me who will give you advice. Give cpap a good try before "going under the knife". It's no fun and probable marginal results.

Good luck!
