Apparently was trying to be helpful and made the "bump" comment to bring your thread back to the front and top of the page in case someone may have missed it and wanted to offer comments.

Or in case he wanted to again see if someone would comment on his weird (again) thoughts.

We often "bump" a thread to get it back to the front page and maybe hope for more ideas.
