The EDS? It's one of the major symptoms of OSA, as well as every other disorder under the planet, I think.

But probably not one that Alex is going to be complaining about this week, and this is his thread.

Oh, I see your point. Perhaps you haven't been around long enough to know that threads have a way of meandering. While it's not considered "kosher" to completely take over a thread dedicated toward helping one particular person and turn it into one's own thread, it's often the case that peripherally relevant topics arise in the course of someone's thread (sometimes content-related, sometimes OT, sometimes plain old humor).

Feel good. I know I can feel better though. Not sleepy at all and have been really productive and clear headed all day. Did my first workout when I got up this morning.

Have to check my data when i get home since my AHI read 6.2 this morning...but overall had a good night sleep.

You?

Good, I slept good last night. Kept my mask on most of the night and slept right through 2 storm sirens. Felt great all day. 0.9 AHI last night and has been consitantly there or lower for a week and a half. Now I just need to monitor, but get on with life.

I can just imagine how those alarms sound like over there. Here, I had to contend with speeding cars and firetruck/ambulance sirens. Those usually wake me up every night living here in Miami but unless there was a massive decline of emergencies and accidents, I don't wake up to them anymore.

That's why I love this forum. I've gained so much knowledge from threads that have "meandered" a bit and hit on a subject that applied to my situation or added to my education . So now Alex knows what EDS is to add to his alphabet soup!

Me too! And Alex graciously gave us his blessing to meander in his thread a few pages ago.

Good to read that you had another good night (and day), Alex! I hope you'll continue to let us know how you're doing. You sure have come a long way in a short time!

It's a rare thread around here that doesn't meander off the original path. Simple discussion hurts nothing and like Dori says, often offers something new. Now if someone was to come into this thread with questions pertaining to their treatment and posting their reports and needing different suggestions, then that might be confusing especially if the OP was still trying to sort through issues. As it is Alex is doing great now and it really hurts nothing to discuss other things. Now if someone wants some specific questions regarding something specific in their therapy, it might be suggested to have a separate topic for them because some members may not be reading this whole thread and a separate post will often glean more specific information pertaining to their problem. In other words, their request could get lost in all these pages. Just my opinion for what little it might be worth.
