AHI

Post by msradar65 » Mon Dec 20, 2010 8:30 pm

I am still a newbie. I have been on CPAP now for about 6 weeks. I have been checking my data myself. I have not seen an AHI that is about 1.0. Should I be happy with those numbers? I am still having as many has 4 apneas in a night.

I need help in interpreting the data.

Welcome!

I want to be sure I understand what you wrote. Do you mean you have not been ABOVE an AHI of 1? If so, that is AWESOME for a newbie! I would have been stoked to have that kind of result early on. I'm just now where I"m getting my AHI under 2 consistently (and sometimes it's as high as 5).

And 4 apneas a night is also AWESOME!

Feel free to post more detailed questions if you them!

You read that correctly. I am averaging 4 apneas a night and maybe 1 central a night. with an AHI of less than 1.0 every night. My pressure is set for 8 and I am sleeping all night with mask on.
