Is this guy charging way too much for a Hybrid?

Post by ChelseaChestnut » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:33 am

I found a hybrid mask on ebay, but I am pretty sure they are asking way too much for it. What do you all think?

This place actually had the same mask for $98 last week, but it is now up a bit: http://www.directhomemedical.com/masks- ... bipap.html
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

cpap.com sells that same mask for $119. So, yes, he is charging way to much.

Well, it DOES say "Make Offer". So you can't really say he's "charging" that maximum price. There's one born every minute...

Is there more than one manufacturer of the "Hybrid" mask?
ResMed S9 Autoset
ResMed AirFit F20 mask with headgear

You are absolutely right. I did try to make an offer of $50 to see if I could get a deal, but they refused it with no counter offer. Oh well!

That one for 79.00 is used. Why not just buy it from Johnny?

It's actually brand new. They sell some used *machines* (as well as new ones), but all the masks are new.

You could always report him to ebay
@$281 for any mask I'd say he is a DME

But he does offer 30 day return policy less 20% of course.
So it will cost you $56 plus S&H to try it.

But then he may reject the return.
