You should be able to ask your dme provider to download it for you at NO CHARGE. The other options are to go to your doctors office, they may have software for you, or to go to the sleep center where you had your sleep study done. Good luck

The problem isn't the Stupid 32 Bit software, the problem is the Stupid 64 Bit Computer ran By the Stupid 64 Bit O.S.. 64 bit is been used for over two years, and still, it's not matured enough to be compatable with 32 bit programs. And is being shoved down our throats by Computer builders and MR. Gates, Because many of us don't know better it gets sold. Jim

Yes, I have Windows 7 32 bit on my computer and the software runs like a charm! When I put on the Windows 7 upgrade, I had a choice of 32 bit or 64 bit. Fortunately I had read of the problems with 64 bit here on the forum and chose the 32 bit. Just lucky people on the forum had tried it before me!

64-bit computing has been around for DECADES. Microsoft is that last to the table, and didn't implement it well. Also, most software has to be re-written to run correctly when in the 64-bit world. There's nothing wrong with it.

As to the original poster, all he has to do is run it in "compatibility mode", and the SQL server as well, and it'll work fine.

And if it doesn't work then, paint your home doorway with goat blood, sacrifice two chickens (Hens Only. leave Rooster alone) nail them to the door, sleep on it and try again tomorrow. Jim

Is this not one of those pesky "non-productive" posts you dislike so much?

It helps to actually know what one is talking about.

As was stated 64 bit has been around for decades, windows xp 64 even came out a hell of a lot longer than 2 years ago, and 32 bit will fade long before it. A 64 bit (or any) operating system does not "mature" to run programs, programs are written to run on the os. Lots of 32 bit progs run in compatibility mode on 64 bit os's, but you have to actually learn to use the os's. I would not go back to 32, 64 is the way to go......it helps to know what you are doing though.

I have windows 7 64 bit and im running 3.11 software with no problem. What you might want to do is right click on the short cut to open the software and do the compatible options where you tell it to run on windows xp and say ok. See if that works. I didn't have to do that but some other software you do and windows is built to run many different programs with that option

Base on this, in a newer thread, Deano has solved the 32 bit problem.
Deano wrote:I did buy software for my machine but I'm not for sure how to paste the results on this post, seams that the paste feature is blocked.. Here are my results from the other night
Deano, would you mind adding a post to the present thread, saying which of the many above suggestions helped you? I have a hunch that it may save the lives of some chickens and goats -- and even help other members who run into the same software problem....
