HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
I have a new CMS 60D (OXIMETER) and it appears to work fine. The manual is difficult to read as the print is too small and the (C)English is awkward. I tried to record the entire night but could not down load it into my computer.....I re-read the manual and did not find what I was doing wrong. The CD software program loaded without problem and I have desk top Icons shortcuts that bring up SPO2 review and SPO2, I connected the CMS 60D device using the supplied USB cable but there was no recognition of a device connected or download. There is data in the CSM 60D that I can review on the data screen (only three hours??--finger unit was taped on to my hand).
If someone has one of these devices and can assist me to get the soft ware working for me ---that would be most helpful.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have your model, but here's a link to manuals in pdf format. A better translation and larger print.

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
I had exactly the same problem. I emailed the seller and they sent me a link to the latest software version. Once I installed that, the SP02 review program started recognizing the device connection without problems. I will pm you the link.rbtgjns wrote:I have a new CMS 60D (OXIMETER) and it appears to work fine. The manual is difficult to read as the print is too small and the (C)English is awkward. Hello, there!
I have the same problem with SPO2 review. Could you, please, send me the link so I can download a more recent version of the program to try to fix the downloading data problem?
thanks
Antonio

Since this seems to crop up quite a bit, I'm just going to put the link here. It just saves the vendor from having to answer so many individual inquiries.
You can try to download this software version: http://www.semedicalsupply.com/SpO2Setup_gen.exe

FWIW, that is SpO2Setup_gen Version 0.982 rc1brain_cloud wrote:You can try to download this software version: http://www.semedicalsupply.com/SpO2Setup_gen.exe
It has a slightly different files size from Version 0.982 (without the release candidate tag) but functionally appears to be identical.
I have not yet seen any version of of the Contec SP02 software that has a version number later than 0.982, which has been around for at least a year now.
Cheers,
Bill

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
Looks like you're on the right path now, but I'll add a couple of hints. I got the same model 3 months ago and am still learning how it correlates to the data from my Respironics M Series ( when IT works....) It's fun to see my personal sleep review in numbers and graphs!!!
I wish I wasn't so fumble fingered when turning off the monitor when I get up. I've erased the whole night a few times, just by bumping the button wrong. Nothing worse than seeing that Waiting.... message come up as it switches to the Record mode, as you know you just erased the night's goodies.
As for assuring the monitor stays on, I'm using an old tube sock, with a thumb hole cut in it. I clip my ring finger so the monitor doesn't stick out as far and have the thumb hole further back than I first thought, so there's some extra room in the toe of the sock. I find I can still hold a book and turn pages, by having that marvelous opposable digit available!

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
Ok this is irritating me now! I know i've seen a screen print image here that shows version 1.0. It was fairly recent. Is there any way to do a search on images in this forum? I've done a search for oximeter and you know what... it comes up quite a lot!!billbolton wrote:FWIW, that is SpO2Setup_gen Version 0.982 rc1brain_cloud wrote:You can try to download this software version: http://www.semedicalsupply.com/SpO2Setup_gen.exe

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
I'm going to jump onto this thread because of a similar problem.
I have the CMS 60F wrist model. I did my first overnight last night. Everything seems fine. Computer recogizes the device and I've followed the manual's instructions. The monitor takes a minute or so "downloading" but I can't get the information to display.
It's probably something very simple I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions????

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
By information, do you mean the reports or the graphs? The graphs should appear immediately after down load. The reports are found when you click the print button.Madalot wrote:I'm going to jump onto this thread because of a similar problem.

Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
Nothing is displaying on the screen at all. No data. But the oximeter says it is downloading. I've tried clicking on different buttons on the software, including the Print button. Nothing happens.snnnark wrote:By information, do you mean the reports or the graphs? The graphs should appear immediately after down load. Re: HELP--CMS 60D oximeter download failure
Hmm... did you download the software at the link Brain supplied above? Maybe that will help. When it says it's downloading is there a count down line and estimated time to completion?Madalot wrote:Nothing is displaying on the screen at all. No data. But the oximeter says it is downloading.
