Hello Everyone,
I have been good for a long time not getting any new masks but I saw this one and had to get it.
Today I got my new Easylife mask. I ordered it from my DME so my insurance paid for it.
Even better
After 3 weeks it finally came. I am wondering if it is that popular or what.
Anyone here tried it yet?
It looks interesting. I adjusted it and laid down with it for a few minutes and it seems to be ok.
I am at a 16 pressure but I tried it at different pressures when I was playing with it. It does seem to
seal better the higher the pressure. I am not sure if this will replace my beloved Actvia but time will tell.
Any thoughts on this mask??

Re: EasyLife mask
No experience with the mask, but I thought I would tackle this question. Since your insurance company paid for it, they almost certainly did not pay the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the mask. I suspect your DME and frankly all DMEs for special order items will take the cheapest (which is often the slowest) route for the merchandise. If they have it on hand you get it right away. If they have to order it, you get the slow boat to China route.swtsassy65 wrote:... After 3 weeks it finally came. I am wondering if it is that popular or what. ...
But you get it! And that's the important thing. We've seen some DMEs that refuse to order masks. So, you are doing fairly well.
Hope the mask does well for you!

Hi!
I tried the Easy Life Nasal Mask but and found it to be comfortable, but just a tad on the noisy side. The important thing is that it is comfortable for you and that you get a good seal. If you are enjoying it, that's the main thing!
Wishing you peaceful, restorative sleep,

Re: EasyLife mask
Hi swtsassy65,
I have an Easylife. I've tried over 10 masks and this is the only nasal mask I can tolerate more than 3-4 nights. My wife says it is very quiet. I still have a red place on my nose and my nose feels sore - just a supersensitive guy, I guess.
I usually try new masks when I nap. Gives me a short trial, and with light, so it is easier to make adjustments, etc.
Happy Naps

Re: EasyLife mask
I have been using the EasyLife in the lab for the last 3 months and so far it is one of the best masks we use! My girlfriend just used the full face version last week and absolutely loved it! It did not leak, and the patient stated it was very comfortable. Most of the patients have ordered the EasyLife after their sleep study and we have not heard any complaints yet.
Re: EasyLife mask
I just recently got an EasyLife off of cpapauction. I thought it might be comparable to the Activa LT, but I have to say that the Activa LT is much better for me. The EasyLife leaves marks on my face--not only the nose bridge but also the forehead and cheeks, and I don't think I'm wearing it very tight--just enough to stop the leaks. But, I have had a much harder time getting rid of all leaks on this one.
