The next morning he reported what he saw to the big chief who just laughed at him and said oh boy they got your good with that one. What else did they pull on you?
Gerry, don't you guys have any WORK to do over at the firehouse? Making tin hats....

There's open beds in psych wards and alzheimer's units for some of you coming up very soon....and the guys with white coats will be sneaking in to capture you. Don't worry though.....you'll never know what happened!

You guys are totally in your own little reality......and from what I gather, it's a good place, and you're all quite happy there--so I wish you the best!

There's just some things that I don't wish to be a part of or understand.

I keep hearing the giggling and laughing on the other side of the door. Every time I approach or knock on the door it stops. One of these days your gonna forget and open that door and let me in.

Ah, not until they hire some new younger guys! The new guys always fall for that. Those are the ones we send out to the engine to find the water hammer and bring it back to me. Then my Engineer will usually chime in and say don't come back without it or the Lt will get pissed.
What we call a water hammer is when someone opens or closes a valve real fast under pressure of water. Hence the water pressure hits the nozzle or the pump like a hammer.

5aces-FYI

your Spider Man's routine was perfectly choreographed
w/Ray Charles doing "Aint that love".

In perfect sync.

Since I was able to solve the cryptogram, I am now part of the Inner Circle. Since I know how it feels to be on the outside looking in (having just been there myself), I have convinced the higher ups to throw open the gates to all of you who are part of the Outer Square! (Scrapper's invited too, even though she's not sure she wants to be a part of it.)

We'll be gathering for our first joint meeting at the Town Center at 8:00 (a.m. or p.m., your choice). We're serving finger sandwiches (no, not real fingers!). Bring your own drinks and riot gear. We're going to have a party!

I'm impressed/somewhat scared that you knew that.
