Y E S ! ! ! After two sons, it was a wonderful thing. And it still is. She's my best friend.
You are the walking poster girl for the benefits of CPAP. Not that I'm happy that you've gained weight, but it's nice to know not everyone starts CPAP and has the weight fall off. When I read those posts, I ask myself why I can't be one of those lucky people. But I have been blessed with so many other benefits from the therapy that I don't mind working a little harder to take the weight off. At least now it comes off. And I am so happy to be out walking my miles every morning and having the energy into the night. I agree with you, it's a wonderful thing.

I don't know where to start! It was all I could do to keep from crying when I read all of your replys! I am hoping that I will be comfortable with my cpap. When I went for the sleep study I actually slept better then I had for years. The mask I was wearing was not uncomfortable at all. I received my machine today and I can't wait to try it tonight. They also brought the exact same mask that I used at the sleep center. I will keep you all posted on the results...over the weeks. Awww, to have more energy, no more morning headaches and to be able to concentrate, I just can't imagine! Thank you all for the replys and encouragement. I feel as if I am starting on a new adventure in my life! And I know without a doubt that it is going to work....if nothing else, the power of positive thinking!
Thanks all!

Please let us all know how your first night goes. Expect to have some trouble falling asleep since you probably will be excited and have a lot of adrenaline going through you. If not, then you will be pleasantly surprised.
Good luck!

Well, it went great! I went to bed at 10:30 and I am pretty sure that I was sleeping by 11. I only woke up 2 times, at 2:00 and at 4:30....that was fantastic! I was waking up every 30 minutes before....it was like I would just get to sleep and then wake up!
I went and exchanged my mask for a smaller size. To get it to quit leaking I had to tighten it really tight and it bruised my face. The tech that exchanged it said it was too big....so tonight maybe no bruises! LOL
Shucks! I already feel better, it has been like forever since I got a full nights sleep. This is just so great!
