Smart Card Utility Program ??

Post by rhawk204 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 6:06 am

Is there a software program that will allow me to copy the data off of the smart card to my computer hard drive?

Yes. Encore Pro or Encore Viewer.

I use a free program - Primo PDF, to save the reports from Encore Viewer software to my "Documents" on my computer after the report has been tranferred from the smart card onto the computer.

Not sure if that is what you are asking.

Do you have the proper smart card reader? It's a little device that you put the card into, and it attaches to the computer with a USB cable... that's how the information is read (once you have the Encore software on your computer to read it). You need to have the 'right' reader of course, not just any one will do.

The MyCPAP Card Utility program (free but author accepts donations) will allow you to save, restore, and format your smartcard(s). I use it daily to save and format my cards.

Cinco-- Is the saved data readable? Or in some "archive" format?
