Humidifier settings ????
Humidifier settings ????
I know it is an individual thing, but I am at a loss as to what is better. I tried setting #1 and it felt cold, but when I went to #2, it seems to warm. Also I got a rainout at #2 but not #1. What is your thoughts on what to do?

Re: Humidifier settings ????
My first thought is do you have a hose cover? After I put one on my hose I haven't had rainout since. I also keep my humidifier around 2 and it seems to be fine...
I dont suffer from insanity.... I enjoy every minute of it!

I was having the same dilemma. For some reason it isn't a dilemma anymore and I use a Humidifier setting of 2 pretty regularly (with a snuggly).
For a while I was actually starting out on the 3 setting to warm things up . . . then switching to 2 . . . and finally to 1 to avoid rainout. Somehow, doing this the "1" setting wasn't cold anymore. Of course, if you fall asleep during the process, you might wake up with water in your nose

Re: Humidifier settings ????
Humidity will vary depending on season, location, time of day, etc.
If it is heat you're after get an Aussie heated hose. A hose cover will help just doesn't provide any heat.
Also the FP HC150 is a much better humidifier and holds more water than the integrated M series. Heating the M series water 1st may help. I used a microwave, just make sure you're still using distilled water.

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Re: Humidifier settings ????
I agree with GumbyCT, if your looking for warm air get the aussie hose! If you want more humidity, raise the humidifier setting AND get the aussie hose! It will eliminate the rainout!
