It's a hell of a lot harder to recognise a mistake and rectify it with an apology than it is to make it in the first place.

We're all guilty of making mistakes. We're not all so good at the humility and apology part of it (Kopoloff being the worst offender) so from where I sit, poly..man, your slate is clean

Cheers

K

As Kopoloff Said.... for many is hard to step out and recognize our mistakes with a sincere apology and the firm purpose to change things... so... you are ok in my book

I wish to reflect as the others have said. I believe you show guts and fortitude in your return, well done for putting yourself out on the edge to make a hopefully successful comeback.

all the best

Poly,

I never saw the offending post(s) so I say the everyone deserves a second chance and appreciate a humbly apology. I have been blessed by second chances in my own life and I cannot imagine not passing on that same blessings to others. Kudos on apologizing and welcome to the forum. Hopefully, in the future we will be of help to one another.

Maria

Good to see you posting again, Polysomnoman. I'm giving you fair warning tho - Polysomnoman is more than I care to keep typing. I'm the lazy sort, so from now on, like it or not, I'm calling you Poly (like in Polly)!!!

I did not read any of these posts, this being my first day here. So, your slate is clean with me.

As they say, actions speak louder than words.

I agree with Nobody. Words are just words. Let's see what this poster does as time goes on. That will be the true test of the sincerity of his apology. There is that nagging feeling, for me, of why he posted as he did in the first place. Is this apology because he got such a negative reaction or is he sincerely sorry?

Time will tell.

That's more like it Hawthorne. Who will escalate it next?

I get this feeling....sorta like watching an abusive husband who beats the crap out of his wife....then gets on his knees...."Please...oh please.....baby PLEASE......I promise I'll never, NEVER do it again."

But, of course, he does.

People don't change.....they may camouflage the "real person" for a while......but a sociopath/psychopath continues to the end......always trying to control others.

We'll see.
