Night two

Post by jambo101 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 1:16 am

Night 2 with Remstar device not going so well,i wake to a flapping noise from the mask everytime i exhale ,not sure if its normal or why its happening i'm wondering if it might have something to do with humidity control, just a guess as the hoses seemed to have water in them,a visual check shows nothing amiss with the mask
Also i'm wondering how i turn the machine off in the morning, are those 3 blue lights supposed to stay on 24/7?

Sounds like you might need to turn down your humidifier.....you're probably getting "rainout"......condensation in the hose.

If the air is not blowing.....it's "Off". The lights will be fine.

What mask?
What pressure are you at?

If you are using a Quattro mask a low pressure it probably is that flapper valve going back and forth.

Yeah you would think with those bright blue LED's they would have incorporated a clock to display the time on the ceiling or at least batman insignia or something
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
