First of all I wish to thank those of you who have read this post and understand that it was written with the intent of being helpful. I have had three successful nights using the comfort curve substituting the plastic cheek pads with "the unmentionables"...!! Now I am working on the headgear and thanks for the bra strap idea, it might come in handy. I appreciate too the humorous comments and have enjoyed a good laugh along with you. However, there have been remarks posted under this topic that are definitely not nice. I believe that even if a posting idea is crazy, there may just be something in it to spark another idea...brainstorming I think it is called. Please think twice about posting lewd comments as it will discourage potential postings from Cpap users who have good ideas and suggestions to share but are concerned about the repercussions. Thanks for listening...CareS

That's my take on it too. I did not see and negative comments and only a few mildly lewd comments. One could argue that posting the topic in the first place was a little bit lewd. Please take it all in fun. I think you got resounding support for your creative suggestion.rock and roll wrote:There have been silly posts to this, but this forum has always had a sense of humor and it is a great pressure release valve. No bad intentions I don't believe.

Sorry folks, if I am a little touchy, my 84 yr old mother is having a heart operation so I am not in the best of moods.
Just my two cents here -- we all have been or still are sleep deprived, which can result in all kinds of unwanted emotions. We need to be gentle with each other and understand that there might well be other outside issues piling up on the sleep deprived poster and not overreact.
Sleep well,

CareS,
Thanks for the panty liner idea. it really works! I tried it today for a nap with no leaks even when I turned over and over. I did have to tighten the straps a little more than I am used to but this is still such a comfortable mask. Hope your Mom did O. K. with her surgery and thanks again--no idea is a "silly" idea if it works. We have to all stick together.

Thanks you guys for writing back to me about the "disposable face pads" and letting me know it is working for you. Question? Have any of you stuck the sticky side to where the cheek pads go. I must try that. It would keep the pads in place. Mom had her operation and seems to have gotten through it OK. Thanks for asking. CareS
