How long will it take?

How long will it take me to get used to this? I started my Swift CPAP last night and although it was comfortable, I kept waking up when I roll to the next side.

Do you think a few nights of Ambient may help?

Hey, Mamma -

For me, with the Swift, it took three nights to get adjusted to it. It took changing the size of the nasal pillows, getting some AYR gel (you can find it at your local pharmacy near the saline nasal spray) and loosening the headgear. Now, I often forget I have it on when I wake. It's great.

And, yeah, Use the Ambien for a few nights while you adjust - it will help keep you asleep while you adjust.

If I can get used to it, anyone can!

hello
it's been a few weeks and I haven't been able to wear my mask for more than an hour. I panic and rip it off. I feel as if I am going crazy. :

You're not going crazy. You're jut not getting the proper support in getting used to a very very unnatural way of sleeping...
Here's how one person got used to the mask, a little bit at a time. notes to newbies (read all of it)

and another one:

Take your time, you'll get there.
