[quote="fredpb"]Thanks "Admiral"! I got on the site and it showed DME bills. I have not received any paperwork, but it showed that my DME has billed medicare $284 twice. My copay, according to the site, is $55. If I don't get billed for the copay, I will keep the machine. If I do, it goes back.
My DME is a big weeny. Shall I shaft him?

It would have been $55 a month!.
I called today and asked if I need to pay the $55 a month. They said yes, but they were waiting until they heard from my secondary. My secondary, well, I called them too, and they won't pay until I get $4000 out of pocket!!!
Needless to say, my secondary stinks. But it's cheap.
So I told the DME I could not afford the monthy payment so I was returning the machine. She went on hold for a while, and said she put me on the "list" for not having to pay this. I think they will not charge me now, as they do the same for my Dad, and he has never paid a monthly fee. She also said she put me on the list for new masks too.
They were actually nice this time. I guess the mention of returning the machine motivated them to be nice, LOL .
Soooooo....
I will just cool it and see what happens.
I use their machine in the living room now that I have the auto in the bedroom. I use it when I am sleepy and watching tv. I usually fall asleep watching tv, so it helps.
This stuff has cost a bit, but the treatmennt is working.
My software shows a AHI of less than 2!
My well being is improved by the therapy, AND the help I get from this board and its members! Thanks all!
