You just look too young to know about Jethro Tull. I first saw them in concert in 78 ... when you were probably just learning how to walksocknitster wrote:Back to cpap-lung, I see! Too hilarious!

I was born in 72 but my Dad was a HUGE Tull fan. When I was around 16 and into all things 60's and 70's (before it was cool, I might add ) I discovered his 8-TRACKS! I found an old stereo and listened to them all. I also listened to his Beatles and my Mom's Monkees LP's, so hey, there is no accounting for taste!
My favorite album by Tull is Stand Up. Very lyrical, kinda medieval. Of course gotta love Aqualung. I really should go look online and see if I can download these albums. When in a nostalgic mood they might be just the thing.
I also liked U2 before THEY were cool. My fave album of theirs is War.
One of my fave albums to play for fun when friends were over was Alice's Restaurant. Artist name escaping me!
So, yes, I was walking and talking, but not making much sense!

And, yes, my avatar pic is prob 8-10 years old. I just happen to like that pic because there are sheep in it (which YOU can't see, sorry.).

I didn't read of any of our forum members who encountered the leaky humidifiers being notified by their local DME supplier of the Recall. If those leaky humidifiers were the cause of the above Recall that doesn't speak too well for the local DME suppliers, does it?

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
I don't care which manufacture makes a product, Only the foolish make a product that runs on electric A/C or D/C, that has to have it's power cord taken out and put back in regularly. IE, changing filters, resetting prescriotions, and filling HH, that very poor design. Even excessive plugging into the wall socket, everytime you replug something in is one more time on the wear cycle before trouble happens. The more you mess with something the faster you create problems. Jim

I got mine on a surge protection power strip ... it has a switch so that is how I power my "tank" on and off for making changes to settings.

Re: Respironics Humidifier Recall
Thanks for the additional info. And thanks Slinky for the heads up.Windfall wrote:The affected units were manufactured from December 2001 through April 2003. If your serial number has more than 6 digits after the H your unit is not involved in the recall.
I researched this earlier this year and found the information posted on another forum.
The serial number range affected is H045582 through H239662. If your serial number falls within this range, please contact Stericycle at 877-574-5038. Please keep in mind that if your serial number is more than six digits after the H it is not affected in anyway.
Thank you,

I checked my older unit that I got over 4 years ago, the one I use for travel, and it falls within the range.
I called the number and they are sending me a new HH. When I get the new one, then I am to follow the instructions and return my old one.
Very simple, very easy.
