My Quattro does, and I would have a problem believing the "It's a feature, not a bug" rap since it leaks just with when it's being pressed one way or another by the hose. It does not leak when it is not being pressed at all, from side to side. I think if a leak at the elbow was designed in, it would be constant, like the vent holes.

resmed:

it's all in your head! its 50% quieter than its 3rd generation predecessor design.

You mean there was a Quattro before this Quattro? but it wouldn't it have been called Tres? come to think of it, that's the same answer I got from my neuro who let me stroke out

My DME let me test drive the Liberty so that I can give him feedback on whether the Hybrid or Liberty is better. I've been using the Hybrid for the past 9 months and I got the new lower vent flow version of the Hybrid 2 months back. Since I've used the Liberty for only 4 nights but the Hybrid for 9 months, I can't say that it is an entirely fair comparison but I'll do it anyways.

I find the Hybrid (with the new headstraps) to be far better. The large oral cushion on the Liberty seems too small and I get annoying leaks around the edges. I don't know if the trampoline action causes it but the Liberty pillows really push hard against my nares and they are sore even if I use Ayr gel. My mouth feels a lot more dry with the Liberty compared to the Hybrid and I think it is because the Hybrid chin cup keeps my mouth shut atleast part of the night. The one thing I do like about the Liberty is the quick disconnect but that doesn't make up for the other deficiencies. The lower vent flow Hybrid is much quieter than the earlier version, the Liberty is comparable to that in quietness.

Cheers!
