Mask Suggestions

Post by jenn52 » Sun Aug 30, 2026 2:19 pm

I've been using CPAP since 2010. Always using Flexifit 407 nasal mask. I've never been able to tolerate any other style. Well now that it's not being sold and I can't get replacement cushions and what not, it's really getting worn out. I am having more leaks, so I try to tighten it and fold the strap to make it tighter but I am being left with welts on my nose and forehead. Last time I tried a new mask I went into afib so I am nervous to try anything (may or may not have been related). Any suggestions of similar mask styles to try? Need nasal, I don't want anything to wraps the tube over the top of the head. I wear my hair in a loose ponytail at night at the top of my head so I need it to accommodate that. Any ideas are appreciated.

I just did a quick search for the Flexifit 407 and I found several online suppliers showing it still being available.
Who told you it was discontinued?

It's not on F&P website and they don't sell on cpap.com. I think one of the reps at my local DME retailer may have told me it was as well. Wonder if the ones on the other sites are old and the foam breaking down. I also don't have a prescription copy anymore to be able to buy from another site besides cpap.com.

OP, here's your mask on what looks like the F&P web site to me:

https://www.fphcare.com/us/homecare/sle ... xifit-407/

Not sure why you didn't see it. Are you in the US?

i didn't see it. it just gives a link to find a distributer and that just leads you nowhere.

Mask parts don't require a RX but a complete mask package will require a RX. Some websites are more strict than others when it comes to the RX on file thing but you can always part it out and buy it that way. In fact some online retailers are right up front about getting around the RX requirement that way.

I didn't realize that cpap.com no longer carries that particular mask. Must not have been a hot seller.

I am sorry but I have never used that particular model of mask so I have no idea what might be a good option for you to try.
