I actually don't take the mask part off. I disconnect it from where the heated hose meets the short tube. I think just sitting up, walking, and the short tube dangling must kind of shift it. The N30 is very light and squishy and easy to dislodge. I think, once I lie back down, I'm supposed to pull it slightly and let it plop back into place, but I'm no good at doing that in the middle of the night, if I even remember. Maybe that's what I should be practicing!
