Just started ASV and waking up.

Post by Sleepless0375 » Tue Nov 21, 2023 5:52 pm

Hi all, my sleep clinic has just put me on ASV. One thing I have been struggling with is waking up 1-3 times a night between 1 am to 5 am. Ive tried increasing EPAP and PS to no avail. I am super desperate and was wondering if anyone could help and provide insight. Below is OSCAR data. I have images of the flow rate when I wake up and then when i try to fall back asleep.

I just want a full 8 hours of good sleep :(. Even BiPaP was better sleep.

Hi yes, https://imgur.com/a/Cy8ToSX.
BiPaP ST wasn’t very pretty. Flow rates looked worse then asv tbh but I got a lot more rem. Currently my issue is this on ASV. Wake up, fall asleep, wake up throughout night.

okay, it's going to take someone more knowledgeable than i to interpret this. i was asking so that someone could come along and advise.

if you could, would you upload the bilevel AND the asv for comparison? i feel that maybe the asv might not be set up properly, but would like my more learned colleagues opinions.

also, if you could, structure your charts more along these lines-

you've put a bit too much info in yours. makes it hard to focus on the main data forum needs to know.

good luck!

Hi all. Same issue. It’s definitely pressure, i thought it might of been my room so I slept on my couch. Same thing, still woke up.

How does this look? I increased EPAP and PS, I know the leak is bad which im fixing tonight, but it was alot less fragmented.
