OT: Top 5 Least-Recommended Ways to Dry PAP Tubing

Post by lazarus » Mon Sep 04, 2023 9:09 am

5. Hanging it up inside a public restroom at a nearby truck stop.

4. Attaching it to the back of your pickup truck when driving into town for groceries and ammo.

3. Training your grandkid's hamster to crawl through it.

2. Standing in the middle of the street and swinging it around overhead like a helicopter then slinging it like a bullwhip at the neighbors while singing Rawhide at the top of your lungs.

1. Anything involving fire or explosives.

This has been a public-service announcement that might need to be a sticky here.

this reminds me of the dick van dyke episode where his buddies give him a prank call. they have him do many things to his phone, the last of which is "whirl it over your head and scream like a chicken".

and no, it shouldn't be a sticky. who reads THOSE things?
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Thank you for your much-appreciated reaction.

But just so you know, my wife has found over the decades that the best way to deal with my shenanigans is to briefly look up with a blank stare, shake her head, and then say, "Really?" before looking back down at whatever serious stuff she was doing.

I have used the helicopter method (loooong ago)--it did not work.
As for the bullwhip; a co-worker of my dad's had a 40-foot blacksnake.
My brother and I took turns trying to make it pop. (ages 10 and 12)
Too much work for nothing but bruises.
(I dare anyone to find an image of frogs with whips.)

She is a good woman. Oddly enough I have to do the same as my husband is the shenanigans maker in our household.

You forgot my favorite.
Drying the tubing in the microwave.
You might even try wraping it around a bag of microwave popcorn to a get two birds with one stone.

As well you should.
And I do not feel the slightest bit regretful.
