CPAP mask air vent

Post by yyc403 » Thu May 05, 2022 10:58 pm

Might there be CPAP headgear which does not blow your exhaled air in front of you?

I hope there might be CPAP headgear/mask that somehow vents exhaled air perhaps above and not in front of you (also it does blow in front onto your bed partner)?

Thanks!

Welcome! Yes, there are options. Try googling “cpap mask vent on top” and you’ll see some.

Also, there are more and more diffused vent masks, that you can't feel the air coming out of unless you put your hand within a couple of inches.

Would be of benefit to know what masks you've tried and if you're interested in masks of similar style. This would help us to suggest more appropriate masks.

ResMed P10, heavily diffused can't feel unless you put your hand right up to it.
Resmed P30i/N30i, front vent heavily diffused, with a second top vent.
