Any suggestions??

I don't think she's been able to actually keep it on long enough so monitoring the water level may not be an accurate way to guess how much she's really using. I will ask her about whether she feels the burning first thing or later on in the night - thanks, Linda. She hasn't spoken of rainout but that's another one I'll ask - I know she does have a hose cover but don't know if she's keeping it under the covers or not - yet another question for her. My insurance will pay for a new mask this month and I'm thinking of the Aura too, blarg. I'm leary though. I've tried the Breeze and CLII which are routed over the head and really didn't like either. I think I need to somehow put the hose over the bed railing in order to get it to work better. I don't have the Aussie hose---would that be heavier than a regular hose with a fleece cover? It just sounds like it would be heavy. Anyway, I'm off track ----thanks to everyone for your ideas---I'll see that I ask more questions and maybe something will work for her.

Tell her to Run, not walk, to her nearest Walgreen's (and lots of others). Buy 83 tubes of Nasal Ayr (brand name). Put a very liberal goober of Nasal Ayr on the inside of each nostril and await the miracle that occurs in the morning.

I don't own stock, but I am a true believer (if you haven't noticed!).

Babbie, If you are thinking of getting an Aura, then you really need to consider getting the heated hose (like Blarg). Almost everyone gets rainout with the Aura (but it's worth the hassle).

Yes, the heated hose is a little heavier than a regular hose. But when hung properly from the headboard or wall, all the the weight rests on the hangar (like a scrunchie hanging from the headboard). From the suspended heated hose, a short Aura hose runs to your headgear and over your head. So, you never feel the main hose.

I absolutely love the way the Aura vents. It blows up over the top of my head. Many cold nights I pull the covers up over my mouth and nose, and never get any exhaust noise.

Well, that's easy enough to fix if you take a page from Rested Gal's book and whip out a saw.
