Hybrid FFM
Hello,
I currently use the AirFit P10 nasal mask and I really like it. I'm also looking for a full face hybrid mask that has nasal pillows and not the nasal cushions. I have done a little research and all I could find are the Innomed/Respcare hybrid and Resmed Mirage Liberty. Do you know if there are any others on the market with nasal pillows?
Thanks,
Sleepwreck

Do you mean other hybrids, or just other pillows, because there are others with pillows, but I don't know about other hybrids.

Yes I would like to know if there are any other full face hybrids similar to the Innomed Hybrid or Resmed Mirage Liberty with nasal pillows and NOT nasal cushions.
Thanks!

In the US, there are not.Sleepwreck wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:28 pmI would like to know if there are any other full face hybrids similar to the Innomed Hybrid or Resmed Mirage Liberty with nasal pillows and NOT nasal cushions.
I had high hopes that ResMed or Philips would design a new FFM with pillows and the hose connecting on the head (like ResMed AirFit F30i FFM or DreamWear FFM). But, so far, they haven't.
I really like the hose connecting on top of the head.

Thanks that's what I thought. I never had good luck with nasal cushions. I guess I'll try the Innomed then.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:53 pmIn the US, there are not.Sleepwreck wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 2:28 pmI would like to know if there are any other full face hybrids similar to the Innomed Hybrid or Resmed Mirage Liberty with nasal pillows and NOT nasal cushions.

Re: Hybrid FFM
I used the Innomed for many years. About a year ago, I switched to the Amara View FFM (https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... -cpap-mask). It has nasal cushions, but I call the headgear "modern." It's much easier to adjust and maintain as compared to the Innomed Hybrid. It does have a cushion and the hose connects in front. But, it is serving me well.
You say you haven't had success with nasal cushions. Which models have you tried?

Re: Hybrid FFM
I have only tried the N30i nasal cushions and since I'm a side sleeper it is really hard to get it to not leak. I have to tighten it to stop the leak then it hurts the underside of my nose. I heard that maybe this is because the N30i is too rigid and not pliable enough to conform to the underside of the nose.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:26 pmI used the Innomed for many years. Would you then recommend the Amara View instead of the Innomed even though I had bad luck with the N30i nasal cushions?
Thanks for your advice!

Gosh, that is hard to say. I've become hesitant to recommend a mask that I like because "one man's treasure is another's poison."Sleepwreck wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:40 pmWould you then recommend the Amara View instead of the Innomed even though I had bad luck with the N30i nasal cushions?
To throw out an idea for consideration, some DMEs will sell a mask with a 30-day trial. You can exhange the mask for another model within 30 days. (The manufacturers cover this expense.) So, you could try the Amara View, and if it doesn't work exchange it for the Innomed. Make sure your DME will be cooperative.
