After using the alcohol pads the nasal ports stayed stuck great all night. I have a wooden headboard I keep my hose ran over like in the video, I might try designing some sort of bracket off it to help hold the hose but I didnt see anything about a upgraded more flexible longer hose for the thing though. How much do they want for that? Can you give me a direct link to it?Pugsy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 7:42 amGo to the Bleep website and watch the videos. Stuart has one that shows using a hose hanger management system as help for that "tugging on the nose from the hose problem".
https://bleepsleep.com/
There is also an upgraded more flexible longer hose available.
At the website there is a contact number...that's Stuart's personal cell phone number. If you continue to have problems...call him and leave a message. He will get back to you.
Skin prep is the key for getting the ports to stick and stay stuck on the nose. You can't cheat....needs a good soap and water wash and then at least the alcohol wipe prep or for people with really oily skin might even need a stronger prep and they do make stronger.

Like Pugsy said, leave a message for Stuart and tell him your experience. He will tell you where you can get the hose, or possibly just send you one. He's really, really nice and very helpful.HDCowboy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 10:57 amAfter using the alcohol pads the nasal ports stayed stuck great all night. It took me some effort to get the dream ports to stick reliably. Pugsy is not kidding about cheating. Give in just a little to the urge to rush through it and you'll have a leak.
Once you get this nailed you will be super impressed with the comfort. I forget it is there now. To the point that one night I stayed to fall asleep without connecting the hose because it felt the same to me.
Cpap.com has the dream ports for 30, and often runs sales. Currently a 2p% off sale, which gets to 24. They also send me coupons and have free shipping for over 100 dollars ... easy to take advantage of.
Amazon has them at 24 plus free shipping if you have prime.
You did not say if your ebay links included shipping. I'm happy to give my business to cpap.com most of the time...

The new more flexible and longer hose and the new diffuser and frame
https://makesleepeasy.com/collections/p ... -dreamport
They might have the hose separate and/or diffuser...I haven't looked yet. It is in the works to be offered separately though.

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
I am so looking forward to getting the Bleep! I'm going to blame this on Covid-19, but I still haven't received it. The person I spoke to almost a month ago said she spoke with my sleep doctor's office and it was a go. Now, my understanding is that they still haven't received a script from my doctor?? One hand isn't communicating with the other, I guess. So, on Friday, I called my PC's office to get her to give me a script. So far, I haven't heard back, but it is a holiday weekend. I'll call on Tuesday, again!
In the meantime, the new hose and defuser that Stuart kindly sent me is still sitting in the box. Hoping for the best this coming week.

Did Stuart send you the hose with the part that the ports attach to as well? If so, you can find the ports on EBay for a good price.Lucyhere wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 4:51 pmI am so looking forward to getting the Bleep! Someone just posted it in the last day or so. If all you are waiting on are the ports...you can buy them separately. I want to say 22.99 for a box of 32 ports on EBay...or something in that neighborhood or check Amazon.

I have the ports. What I don't have is the cushion. Hoping to get this straightened out tomorrow. Fortunately, I have a mask... just really want to try the Bleep.Pugsy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 7:04 pm

Ahh...the thing the ports and the hose frame attaches to.
Let me know if you don't get it resolved fairly quickly. I think I have an unused one somewhere deep in the bowels of all the crap I have.

I forget it's official name and would have to look back through all this thread to see the official name. The part that fits into the hose frame thingy and lets you connect the ports to it and the hose.
The good news is once you get it...it's pretty much indestructible unless the dog gets a hold of it.

As of this morning makesleep easy didn't have the new hoses or the diffussor or the kit. The kit includes the diffuser, the hose and the mask. But no ports.

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
Yeah...that's the entire kit. I think the cushion thingy is called the Dreamway but I can't remember for sure and can't find the right picture of everything disassembled. Give me a bit to keep looking. Lucy has the ports and the new hose and the thong for the diffuser but doesn't have the part that is in the middle...the cushion thing that fits into the hose part and the ports attach to. At least that is what I am thinking anyway.khauser wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 5:57 pmBleep Dreamway connector?Pugsy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 2:35 pmAhh...the thing the ports and the hose frame attaches to.

I order the DreamPorts from Direct Home Medical. They are currently on sale for $18.00/box. They offer free shipping. Most of the time they are about $24/box, but I stock up when they have coupons and generally pay just over $16/box. I have been very happy with their service. At that price it is less than my insurance price.

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
Well I cut a hose off an old p10 I had the other day and I and attached it to the bleep, it sealed fine and I like it much better with the p10 hose. I still aint a 100% sure about the thing though, still feels like I have a elephant trunk attached to my nose for some reason a little bit, much less with the p10 hose I will admit. I probably wasted 4 or 5 of the dream ports getting them to stick the other night and used my p10 last night and slept much better and I aint got to spend a half hour in the mirror getting everything right, I can just put it on and be done with it and aint got to have an elephant trunk hanging from my nose if I got to get up and go to the bathroom! LOL! I'm still on the fence about the bleep, its definitely going to take some getting used to and I'm not too sure its worth spending the extra money on having to constantly buy the dreamports, even if I can get a box of them for less than $25, that's still an extra $50 a month!

That wasting of dreamports goes away pretty quickly as you get used to applying them. I think I've wasted one set in the last 3 boxes.HDCowboy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 9:56 amWell I cut a hose off an old p10 I had the other day and I and attached it to the bleep, it sealed fine and I like it much better with the p10 hose. If you still feel it tugging on your nose you don't have a proper supporting system. I use the system Stuart recommended, and it works great. I should have had it for years ... even if I use my Tap Pap it's much better with that system.

Apologies if this is already in the thread, but what exactly are the products that go into Stuart's system? I watched the video but couldn't catch what he was saying.
