Is there an Online Forum for Home Oxygen Users?

Does anyone know of any online forum or support group for home oxygen users? The equipment looks a lot more complicated to me than CPAP, which few here mastered without help from members of this forum. From what I have read so far, you sign a 5-year contract with a DME for whatever oxygen equipment you end up with, and the DME still owns the equipment at the end of the 5 years. Knowing nothing about oxygen equipment and not being willing to blindly commit to anything for a 5+ -year period, I don't want to get stuck with the equivalent of a CPAP brick.

My doctor has prescribed home oxygen for continuous use-- 2 LPM-- and a nebulizer, based on results during an oxygen visit (resting oxygen saturation levels in the low 80s) and from a 5-day hospitalization, most of the time on oxygen, that started with an emergency room visit for not being able to catch my breath after minor exertion. Even with oxygen, my oxygen saturation levels were often in the 80% range.

I realize this is not a forum for home oxygen users. even CPAP users on home oxygen. I appreciate the kind responses from those here who are knowledgeable about home oxygen. I hope those here who have not been kind never need help with oxygen, insurance / Medicare coverage, and/ or any other medical issue in which they are not an expert and therefore seek help from others.

COPD forums have a lot of O2 users.

You can buy your own concentrator. The Phillips Respironics Everflo Q is very nice and quiet.

Thank you for the information! I'm wondering if DME's have showrooms where you can see all of the oxygen devices to choose what it appears will work, like they do with CPAP masks.

Are there any forums or Facebook groups for oxygen users with which anyone here has personal experience? Some people think all one needs to do is use google, but not all groups are as knowledgeable and helpful as this one is (sometimes).
