AHI lower on mini vs airsense 10?

Post by Spardan » Thu Dec 26, 2019 1:13 pm

Long time anonymous stalker, first time caller.

I recently bought an AirMini and first couple 3 nights my ahi was 1.0, 0.1 and 1.0. This is much lower than my average of 2.34. Is the mini much less precise or should I try using it at home for a few days to see what the skew is?

Thanks!

What did you have before?

The machine you have listed in your profile doesn't provide any useful data, and isn't automatic, whereas the airmini can be.

Were your previous results with the Airsense?
What are the settings on both machines?
OSCAR graphs?

"Airsense 10 what" is the question.

I have both the Airsense 10 For Her and the Airmini, and the Airmini has reported many times a slightly lower AHI than my main machine. I think it's just a precision or measuring issue. To be honest, the data provided on the Airmini app is quite useless.

I’m using the Airsense 10 auto. My range on both machines is 5-20. I will upload Oscar graphs later. Thanks

Same mask?
Either of them in APAP for Her mode?
Both in the same Standard/Soft Response mode?

Yep. Only difference is the n20 has the mini hose which vents at the humidifier vs venting at the tip like with the full size. None are for her. Both are in standard mode.
