Post by Jensmommy » Fri Oct 18, 2019 4:54 pm

Does anyone know how to add an old p10 hose to the Bleep? I talked to Stuart and I did not understand the exact way? Thanks

just stick it on, after cutting off the P10 frame.

You have to cut the P10 hose off right where it attaches to the P10 frame. Sharp scissors or knife.
So you have a bare end and that's what slides up over the Bleep hose attachment area. You have to pop off the Bleep hose first.
Then you cram the P10 hose over that little round part of the Bleep where the hose attaches.
It's an extremely snug fit and you will likely have to really work on it to get it up to the base of the Bleep frame but it can be done and it won't move once you get it up there.

Bleep hose is on top and P10 hose is on the bottom.

I pulled the clear plastic swivel out of the end of the bleep hose shown still attached in pugsy’s picture and then shoved the p10 hose on that I then reattached the swivel.

I used a knife between the swivel and the white end of the bleep hose to persuade then to separate

Thanks so much, this helped so much. Now if I can get the thing on and keep my mouth shut, I am all of a sudden out of the blue mouth breathing. Taping is next.

welcome to the zoo! may i recommend the following instead of taping?-

this works great for me. i modified it a bit to keep my lips from parting, but this is the basic premise i worked from. the advantage is that scuncis can be used again and again with a quick trip through the laundry.

oh i also use a firm foam cervical collar which helps keep my jaw from sagging and helps open up the airway.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
