NEED TO HELP FOR ANALYZE PO80 SLEEP REPORT

Post by emir22 » Wed Sep 11, 2019 5:03 pm

hello

Hello

first of all there is two png picture of my 5 hour BEURER PO80 sleep test results in attachment .please take a look at that /
i need your help to analyze results and need to know if i have sleep problem or not .below i share a brief history of myself/

Im 31 male. Im always tired and my muscles is week all the time. Get tired very soon. Sleep quality is very low and sleep for 10 our a day at least. Few years ago diagnised with OCD and anxiety. And i am on doluxetine 20mg a day.my BP is always high and is on 140/90

Im very sensetive about my health and some of my friends say that you have hypochonderia. Abou your self and health. I have been taking CBC blood test from about 2003 every 3 month. My lab tests came back normal until 2 years ago i found that my hgb level had elevated and was 18.5 . I was experiencing symptoms like heavy night sweating. But only left side of my body was sweating. I thought it was due to withdrawal of doluxetine. I visited a doctor. They prescribed some lab tests. Results were came back normal. I also visited a oncologist. He said may be its due to the smoking or even snoring. He said do a phelobotomy of 300 cc. and come to me after 6 month. From that time i am doing CBC test every 2 month and if the level goes to about 17 so i do a 200 or 250 ml phlebotomy. I dont go to the oncologist anymore. I have fear of going to doctor s. It has been almost near 3 year that I have this problem. Im worry about if my high hgb is due to taking doluxetine. Or if it is due to my sleep problem? Or at the end if it is due to bone narrow disorder. My skin is not red. The first time i said to doctor that my hgb is 18.4 docror said you seem more like to have anemia than have polycythemia. 😊😅😆. Briefly i do near 3 phlebotomy a year and dont let my hgb goes to abkve 17. I reminded that oncologist that told me if it was due to snoring. So i bought a PO80 puls oximeter that records 24 hours the amount of oxygen and heart rates. Even in awake condition my spo2 level is not getting above 94 or 95. It normally shows 94 and 93. And during sleep when i see the graph i see tbat spo2 is near 92 91 90. I searched a lot abot normal ranges for sleep time spo2 normal ranges. Not found a permanet values. Can someone help me to know if is my recorded values are normal values or not? I recorded abot 10 time of24hous. In some cases spo2 is getting below 88 for seconds or maximum 2 min. Can this values of spo2 cause high hgb? If here one can analyze spo2 grapgh i can share all the results.

im waiting for your views and helps for analyzing of spo2 graph

I'd certainly agree that you are a serious hypochondriac, and might be well served to seek therapy.

I have NEVER known anyone who wanted to have their blood tested just for fun.

As for the pix, your oxygen is fine, and only seems to go down a bit when your pulse is lower and erratic,
possibly caused by anxiety. But it's nowhere near a worrisome level.

Normal HGB levels for adult males is 14-18....I agree with the previous post. There is nothing to analyze on your charts. Find something to do besides monitoring your blood and oxygen levels./

Your O2 readings don’t appear to be unusual, and HGB of 17 is within a normal range for a man. Although you are taking low doses of doluxetine, I note that its side effects can include lack or loss of strength, sweating, and sleepiness or drowsiness (per the Mayo Clinic).

You should review the need for your regular phlebotomy procedures with a physician, as well as your concerns about blood pressure and O2sats, and you could ask whether you have a net benefit from the doluxetine. Those are all questions for a medical professional, and the folks here can’t really advise you in those areas.

But in your post, you say your sleep quality is poor and you feel tired during the day. If I put everything else to one side, I think you should consider asking your doctor for a polysomnographic sleep study. It is possible that you suffer from sleep apnea — and possible that you don’t. The one way to try to find out is with a proper sleep test.

If you have one and want to post the report on it here, I think you could get help on understanding and interpreting it.

Good luck!

Muscle week. Poor sleep... So i decided to do and study myself..

There's nothing alarming in your pulse ox report. The slight drop you see is normal for what happens when we sleep.
It's always 2 to 4 % lower when asleep.
The random spikes lower that are of very short duration....probably what we call a loss of contact artifact. The sensor couldn't quite get a snug connection. Real drops in O2 levels aren't that quick...they don't go down that fast and they don't come up that fast either.

I am not saying you don't have some sort of problem....but it's not from oxygen levels when you sleep.

What you see here is a normal report.

I didn't know that rising or dropping of spo2 takes a few times. But my po80 beurer device shoes sudden drops. For example if i take a deep breath. Number will go from 94 to 95.then 95 to 96. Then 96 to 97.all of them take only 5 second. Is not it nornal? Then take same 5 second to go 94

That is a very small insignificant change with deep breaths.
It's normal.

You need to get a sleep study. Snoring alone, without apnea, damages a person's health. You're 31 and snorning heavily. You probably have sleep apnea.

That is NOT a sleep test. It's a pulse-oximetry study.
