That is awesome. I'm in Az where its hot all the time and wonder how people wear some of these things. That looks tolerable. :)
pssst. the secret is, you don't wear it ALL the time, just when you go to bed!

no, i read you loud and clear. you aren't the only one to complain of a foam cervical collar and heat.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

You asked about the Bleep. This was posted in the other thread. A P10 hose on the Bleep/

I just mcguyvered a more flexible hose onto my bleep. I had to use PTFE tape to make the hose fit on- I don't have a spare P10 hose, so I was using an airfit N20 hose, and I was not ready to attack anything with a knife.....

We will test it tonight.

The N-20 doesn't have the nice difusser though. Its the one thing that makes me crazy about my N-20.

Let us know how it goes and please post pictures when you get a chance.

Anyone know how to do a homemade diffuser for the N-20?

I already have a nice diffuser - I taped over the vent in the hose.

I am scared to tape up the vent on the N-20.

I just bought a P10 frame on eBay for $20 to replace my spare I cut the hose off :) it was not an expensive experiment and very successful

I hope that diffuser over the vent does not block too much air.
Perhaps a diffuser over the elbow vent would give more venting if needed.

The diffuser material over the vent on the Bleep is fine. Just about any material that is porous will work just fine as a diffuser.
From an engineering standpoint in terms of cleaning out the dead space in the Bleep to keep carbon dioxide low it really doesn't take all that much venting because the dead space is so small. The Bleep actually has more vent holes than is needed from an engineering standpoint...added mainly for comfort in the inhale/exhale process to make moving of the air easier.
The vent holes and diffuser on the Bleep is sufficient and there is no need for using the vent on the N20 hose elbow.

What we don't want to try to use as a diffuser material on the Bleep is something that isn't very porous and tape it over the vent holes.

Pugsy, with all these great ideas, please ask for a "like/love" option on the forum.
I think the plugin for our software calls it "post love" instead of "like". You have the inside connections to the owners.

To be absolutely clear -
The bleep has vents under the green diffuser fabric.

The hose has an addition vent THAT IS NOT NEEDED TO VENT. I taped the additional vent with tape to prevent too much venting, which might record as leak.

Understood. From the photo I thought the fabric might have restricted the airflow. If you are comfortable with that, we are comfortable. ;)

Thank you for clarifying. I had forgotten about the other vent. :)
