The difference in immigrants now is that they are Illegally coming here, bringing with them disease, illegal drugs, and crime. We need to enforce our laws and let the legal immigrants have priority over the criminals who cross into USA illegally.

Trump is clearly the lesser of the two evils. Hillary with her law degree background is a compulsive liar and cheater, who should be in jail for what she's done in the past. If she gets in, we can kiss our healthcare system (as we know it) good bye and so can the Canadians who come down here to use it. Her husband is a pervert who disgraced this country in the 1990's. To have him back in the White House as a dirty old man would be totally repulsive. Trump is one of the few with no law degree so he never learned the polished politically correct games that are played by most of the others. He doesn't accept bribes from the likes of George Soros. He's not been bought and paid for by large corporations and Globalists. It's been a breath of fresh air to hear much of what comes out of his mouth. With him there will be no shadow government.

I just want a leader who will stop the constant flow of less than desirables crossing our borders day by day; the drugs, the human trafficking, and who knows what else is sneaking in with their weapons. Immigration has gotten way out of control. I want to see all illegals who we've been feeding in our prisons RETURNED TO SENDER. Only Trump will follow through with that. I'm tired of the massive numbers of foreigners being brought in to mooch off the rest of us who've been working and paying into the system for decades. Many of these people will never be loyal to this country and have no problem accepting the handouts that should be going to our veterans, elderly and disabled who at the same time are being shortchanged of promised entitlements, being cut back to bare bones existance, or cut off entirely. If you want more of a chance to live in poverty, vote Hillary. If you want to lose your freedom of speech, vote Hillary. If you want less opportunity to advance and a lesser quality of life for your own children and grandchildren, vote Hillary.[/quote]

SleepyM... Specifically, I was referring to Gasper62's post from yesterday, and should have quoted it.

I find it very telling/interesting that not one person has commented on it. I think it's because both articles would be hard to refute. Therefore, look the other way...

Obamacare premiums are set to skyrocket an average of 22% for the benchmark silver plan in 2017, according to a government report released Monday.

Those old HMO preventive maintenance plans were great, the monthly fee was reasonable, now these premiums are like going to the hospital for surgery twice a month on top of the old premiums, and never mind the new out of pocket maximums nobody can afford....nothing is free, somebody has to pay for it.

Out-of-Pocket Maximums Under the Affordable Care Act

The ACA limits out-of-pocket maximums, the max amount of costs for covered services you’ll pay out-of-pocket in a policy period on your health plan.

For 2017, your out-of-pocket maximum can be no more than $7,150 for an individual plan and $14,300 for a family plan before marketplace subsidies.

NOTE: The individual limit applies to each individual in the plan. Thus, for 2017, even though the family limit is $14,300, no one member can occur more than $7,150 in covered expenses before the maximum is reached for that member.

Out-of-pocket maximums increase a little each year.

Oh, I dunno, looks like some of the health care company stocks are following the DOW pretty closely over the last 5 years.

Under the HMO the premiums were cheap in my early 40's, had all the cpap testing and cpaps and cpap supplies I wanted, planned surgeries were cheap, life was good. Now I don't even consider insurance as a viable option for cpap therapy.

Apparently, though, I might be able to get a free vasectomy now. And look what they are charging these 20 somethings, wow, how will they repay their student loans (or will they just default)? Those youngsters should get the free vasectomies and birth control to avoid the cost of children they will never be able to afford (unless they learn how to milk the system).

I take it you don't know that many using Obamacare get subsidies. That is kinship with socialism. Whether you want to count it as medical care socialism or insurance socialism is your choice.
