Masks on the floor!

Post by cosmosleeper » Tue Sep 06, 2016 9:20 am

My first cpap masks was a full face masks and the longest I ever wore it was about 1.5 hours of actual sleeping time. I now use a nasal pillow and my first night Id consider a success because this morning I woke up and the time said 4.5 hours of use with only 5 episodes! I'm very excited about that however I still found my masks on the floor when I woke up! I don't take sleeping pills and I don't remember waking up and throwing the masks on the floor. Is this a habit Ill eventually break?

It's a common thing to happen during sleep. I seem to pull my covers up then push them down during the night, usually a couple of times... I never remember a thing about it. Try taping your mask to your face with some NexCare multipore tape, that'll make it harder to remove.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

If that does not work, get some HAIR under the tape.

Duct tape works pretty good if you remember to leave some holes for your mask CO2 venting.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

If I woke up and found my mash on the floor, I'd climb back into my bed. Jim

I keep mine on the floor in a corner of my bedroom.

I use an O2 pump myself, looks like you are doing the CO2 generator. Jim

Man, that is such a creepy picture... don't know why, but that's the way I reacted.

Do your sleep charts show anything going on when you toss the mask off? Long apneas, obstructive or clear airway? Arousals for some unidentified reason?
