Fought masks & quit for ~18 months.
Restarted 7 months ago... Swift FX nasal pillows & chinstrap, now. One machine.
Hi Char1ieJ,
Like many posters here on this thread, you bring a unique experiences. Please, explain those intermittent gaps in mask usage. Why so many month of quits? Could it be that you was still shopping for a perfect mask? I know this is an on-going issue for some around here.

It was February of 2002 or maybe 2003 that I got diagnosed and picked up used machine and pass over humidifier from an ebay seller who luckily just happened to be local since we couldn't get it done through ebay, and the open mouth issue began immediately. Then I got my brick and tape, and all was well for quite some time until the CAs got worse and I switched to an ASV last year, and all was well again, better than before. Sleep is no small mystery to me, and there seem to be so many old and new factors that go into a good night's sleep, that it's always a challenge. Lots of experimenting, mistakes here and there. Can't live without the little blowers.
