OK, I have a System One APAP which doesn't allow the user to change the time. I have I set up Sleephead so that the times are correct but can't figure out anyway to make Encore correct - it is 3 hours off. I do like the wave forms in Encore- which is why I occasionally use it. Any ideas or shall I just live with it knowing how much it is off?
Thanks,
Jagzoo

Exactly which version of Encore do you have?
Is it Encore Basic or Encore Pro?
Is it Encore Basic or Encore Pro?

Re: Anyway to change the time in Encore Basic
Encore is supposed to take the time from the machine (which is set to GMT at the factory) and convert it to the timezone set in your computer when you download the data.jagzoo wrote:OK, I have a System One APAP which doesn't allow the user to change the time. Could be the time in the CPAP machine (some lose time), could be the computer time or timezone.

Re: Anyway to change the time in Encore Basic
Encore Basic has no way to change a time zone but Encore Pro 2.xxxx does have a way to set time zone but it is done under the company setting and not patient user setting.
The default time zone is GMT and it can be changed...this was not available on older Pro versions and it's not available in Encore Basic....so with the time being off 3 hours it makes me think it is a time zone issue and Pro is being used and not Basic.
I can dig out the instructions for how to set time zone but I need to know the version and confirm it is Pro and not Basic.

Re: Anyway to change the time in Encore Basic
Hi everyone,
I am using Encore Basic. I use to have Encore Pro but lost it with a drive failure. It is obviously taking my CPAP time and not converting it to machine time. I checked machine time and it is correct.
So am I stuck with it - wouldn't be the worst thing, just a pain.
Unless someone knows where I can get Pro?
Thanks for responding.

If that's the case, that's alot of time loss for a relatively new 560 machine.jagzoo wrote:Hi everyone,

With the old Legacy models, the time loss was between 1 and 2 minutes per month. That's roughly 12 - 30 minutes per year.
My original Pro 2 machine had been sent in to the factory to fix a blower noise in September of 2006, and when I got the software and cable in about March of 2010 to reset it, the time was off by a little over 83 minutes.......approximately 42 months, so that was about 2 minutes per month.
