best pillow for side sleeper

Also a side sleeper using a nasal pillow mask. I used a papillow for over 3 years, and that worked pretty well for me. About 3 months ago I got a Tempurpedic neck pillow ("Large" size for the extra height for side sleeping), and have had lower leaks and more comfort since. The buckwheat hull pillow that I had was too firm for me, and I had another combination foam pillow that was also too firm. The Tempurpedic foam seems just right (sounds like Goldilocks *smile*) to me. Since I also have neck and back problems, it's always nice to find a pillow that helps with that.

Their side pillow didn't work for me. I tried it in a store and I just couldn't get comfortable with it. Odd but true *smile*.

Ah, that is interesting, I had not thought of their pillow. I did receive my CPAP pillow though and I am very very happy with it. Thanks to the guy on this forum who developed it. It was a great idea to do this for the community, since through personal experience he or she can design such a better pillow. I think so anyway. Because the article was a bit hard to find on the website, just for reference for anyone else who might want to buy this pillow this is the link.

Hi Normdany: Was your question addressed to me? The pillow I bought was this one. This pillow was actually designed by Sleepguy on this forum based on his own expereinces of feeling discomfort with other pillows. I still find it very good. I think quite a few people on this forum are using this pillow, so you might want to look into getting one yourself!

I finally found the type of pillow I like after a lot of run around. I ordered the Mypillow, but unfortunately went by their sizing chart. I hated the pillow because it did not have enough stuffing - other than that it was comfortable. I finally got the company to send me the largest size they had, which has a lot of fill. I really love it. I found some cheap imitations of this pillow and bought 3 of them.

In the meantime, I bought a really cheap buckwheat pillow just to see what it felt like to sleep with. AWFUL!! Way too hard and it made some noise when I moved around. So I was happy not to have spent a lot for one of these. I just keep it in my trash pillows pile - for guests and such!
