Bullies need to be confronted to be stopped.
Inacceptable behavior needs to be identified.
Otherwise the bully behavior keeps going and going and going like the Energizer.

Read the posts, make your own decisions.
When you see bully behavior speak up at the time.
Don't expect other people to do it for you.
You have been here long enough to already know.

There have ALWAYS been bullies on this forum (ALL online forums for that matter). It's the nature of the beast. *I've* been bullied here and BADLY, the likes of which you new people have no clue. What you are seeing here is tame compared to some of the bullying of the past. And yes, it got very, very ugly.

The difference between then and now is that the bully was called out, but in doing that, those people didn't turn into bullies themselves. You can call a bully out on his/her behavior without resorting to the same tactics as the bully.

What part of that don't you people understand? I'm all for calling out a bully, but not by becoming a bully!!!

And no, I'm not naming names. There are some people that I respect a lot, but have not respected some of their recent behavior. And there are some that are just downright nasty people, plain and simple. But those are MY feelings and beliefs and a person that I might find horrible might be someone else's best buddy here. And vice versa.

You all need to decide for yourself. But before you decide who is awful and who is not, you should objectively review your own behavior and ask yourself if YOUR behavior is above reproach.

And a lot of people here throwing stones live in glass houses themselves.

I may have to take back my apology to Sonnyboy if she is accusing me of being a bully. I don't think you will find months of my being rude on this forum. I am standing up for myself and for Enchanter. As far as bullies go, Pale Rider is the chief bully here as well as other forums he has been on. I get it though. Yes, I found you elsewhere He undoubtedly was bullied growing up in Texas with their conservative attitudes. So now he will bully people in return because he's hiding behind a computer screen. I'm not going to sit by and watch him do it though.

All of this would have died down a long time ago if people would have just gone to their corners and cooled down. But no, can't do that. Gotta fight back, and taunt and fight back and keep poking the bear (from both sides poking the opposite bear).

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Any person that is capable of logging onto a computer, finding a forum they need, figuring out how to join, post, send PM's -- is capable of handling their own battles. All of this piling on, even in the name of helping, just takes a bad situation and makes it worse, you know?

On a forum, arguing about bullying is useless, one persons bully can be another person realist.

The only thing that could be done, is call the "Cpap Police". That won't work, because they are at the Donut Shop, or are out stopping XPAP users, driving around with their masks on and seat belts off, collecting violation taxes.

Anytime I am bullied I will speak up be it in a forum or on the street.
All 66 years and 5 feet of me.

When I see excessive bullying I will speak up be it in a forum or on the street.
Whether it is a child, adult, disabled person, or elderly person.

You yourself have identified someone in the past. Put that person and yourself on your list please.
