I'm in the clear. I capitalize...The Boyfriend. Some people have thin skin, apparently. Good thing TB isn't one of them, in this case. Better to use "the" in front of relationship status than to be married and say, "I'm single." THAT is unacceptable...but is sa simple fix. We all have our quirks.
